Yoga seminar: Transforming Emotion to Devotion

This seminar will focus on transforming our emotions into love and devotion by yogic practices and Vedic ceremonies. We will learn about ancient Hindu worship, explore the yogic practice of Japa meditation (Recitation of sacred mantras along with Vedic rosary beads), study the nine stages to self realization and enlightenment through the devotional path of bhakti yoga, as well as learn of the great avatars and bhakti yogis of this tradition who have been totally absorbed in divine love for God.

We often mistake love for attachment, whether it’s to people, places or objects.  Love is nothing other than the divine presence itself.  It is absolute, unconditional and self-radiating.  Sages and spiritual masters have discovered that this latent energy exists in each and every one of us and waiting to be revealed.  The power of love is capable of dissolving both the mind and ego.

The seminar will be given by Radha devi dasi along with Swami Krishnananda, Swami Ananda, Govinda das and Indra devi dasi who are long time practitioners, Vedic pujaris (priests) and yoga teachers at the Vishwa Dharma Mandalam.
